Definitions

Once it rained.Then a man sat inside his house & he came to b known as a believer.Another sat out enjoying the rain & he came to be known as an atheist.Another sat out sipping in tea & he came to be known as an agnostic.And finally a man took a drop in hand and called it god-he came to be known as a pantheist.

It was also heard that the the pantheist sprinkled some drops on the believer..

The Calling

I heard the footsteps

in the sand

but no one

Song of the Soul

In the depth of my soul there is
A wordless song - a song that lives
In the seed of my heart.
It refuses to melt with ink on

When Death Comes

When death comes
like the hungry bear in autumn;
when death comes and takes all the bright coins from his purse

to buy me, and snaps the purse shut;
when death comes
like the measle-pox

when death comes
like an iceberg between the shoulder blades,

I want to step through the door full of curiosity, wondering:
what is it going to be like, that cottage of darkness?

And therefore I look upon everything
as a brotherhood and a sisterhood,
and I look upon time as no more than an idea,

and I think of each life as a flower, as common
